Mobiles are a traditional craft in Denmark, but the modern mobile was created in 1954 by Christian Grethe Flensted. Their designs included contemporary geometric shapes while maintaining their harmonious balance of elements in motion necessary to function as they should. The Futura looks like a big, floating molecular model circa the year of the Jetsons! Made of steel, beech and plastic and measures approx. 14" x 29.5".
